If you're using AnyDVD, you should be able to access the files directly off the disc without having to rip them to HDD first.

Otherwise, I'm not sure how else to go about doing this. Even commercial DVD ripping tools required at least twice the DVD's capacity in available HDD space for the exact same reason.

And how can you expect to deal in BR discs if you don't have at least 100 gb of free disc space? Even an external USB disc can be cheaply aquired for use as temporary working space.
