What are you using to play it back? Sometimes software players can cause desync. It's been a long, long time since a standard backup of an AVC HD source in movie-only has had sync problems. Can you also run INSPECT.EXE and post the results?

I'll pick up a copy of NEW_MOON and give it a test run.
