Not sure on pgc.net, maybe try without that. I ripped the DVD to HD then run avi.net. Course I don't use anyDVD either (gave me too much problems with my system). I just ran 3.5 and it worked fine for me. Course I'm using Windows XP.

Try without pcg.net first, maybe something about it and 3.5 don't like each other? But if 3.2 works, why not stay with it unless you need newest xvid.

Also since you have Windows 7, why not try out the author's new video.net which saves in the .mkv/mp4 containers now. I would like to use it but it uses .NET 4 which I can't install.

Other than that, you could try posting in his other forums, or email him, to see if he knows what the problem may be. Sorry couldn't be much of help to you.
