This is quite good considering it's straight from analog cable to low-bitrate MPEG2. Much better than I could ever hope to achieve, which is why I have to capture to MJPEG then filter/encode.

Downloaded the file "Birdy.avi." It appears the deinterlacing worked well, but I have never seen a high-res capture so blurry in my life! There must be some _massive_ noise reduction pre-filtering being used!?
