From ShrinkTo5 website: ShrinkTo5 is the new, powerful and fast DVD copying engine. ShrinkTo5 has been developed as a cross-platform engine available for free for anyone. To ensure a fast spreading to other platforms ShrinkTo5 is distributed as open-source.
They are looking for programmers for their linux version so if you can/want to help please visit their homepage (http://shrinkto5.com).
AFAIK this could be the first one click dvd9 to dvd5, with support for full copies (with the original menus), for linux.

Hmm. Seems nobody, except one, doing it ...
Since the dll is out, it should be hard to code a tool for linux. realBasic can be the IDE for it. Maybe I'll come up with something.

@Amnon82

There's a W32 version (using old source) coded in Delphi by a developer from Switzerland (a wrapper in thruth) which works very excellent. The source code is delivered by the way. More in this link (http://www.shrinkto5.com/news.asp?date=2).

Danpos. I know. I'm on looking into it, cos I can code in Delphi. Maybe I port the Wrapper to realBasic IDE for Linux/Win/Mac.

First I have to code some basic sample programs to learn the "new language" REALbasic, but it is possible to see a port for linux. Maybe I'll do it.
