I can't enter the main site. All it shows is some vague logo.

The forum works fine though.

Still works fine for me. Are there mirrors? I use http://www.doom9.org.

I just used IE and now it works fine. Firefox seems to be the problem.

EDIT: Hmm... now Firefox works. Very strange.

IMHO, your browser take page from cache. x264.nl is down too.
Is it a DDoS for opensource video sites?

Just doom9.org gives me the logo too. Try www.doom9.org. That way works always for me.

I've got the main page and the navbar on the left still in the cache, but http://www.doom9.org/right.html and http://www.doom9.org/top.html are fully 404-compliant, and now that I've cleared the cache the whole site obviously doesn't load.

Here's what http://www.doom9.org/right.html gives me:

There's currently a problem with one of the main-servers. It will be resolved as soon as possible.

that server was scheduled to be shut down last week already, it lasted longer than anticipated. What you experienced is the effect of me losing one of the site servers :(

Will you place this site on some other hosting (will you open web site again)?

will you open web site againUh, everything is working just fine on the remaining 5 servers, so I don't understand the question.
I don't make any money off the site so I get whatever hosting is offered to me for free (see the sponsors page for those who are so kind to allow me to keep going).
