I know that a .ms-dvr file is just an MPEG2 stream wrapped into an asf with extra metadata on it that is produced by Microsoft Media Center Edition 2005 when recording. I'm looking for a good, easy, and hopefully cheap way to cut the commercials out of these files to record to a DVD. Right now the only one I have found is NeroVision express which will do it but it lags way down after the first or second commercial is cut out and it must do a full re-encode every time.
I've looked around at the other tools available on this site and some seem farily easy to use but none natively support ms-dvr files as far as I can tell. Anyone know of anything that is for sure able to work with these files natively that is worth anything?
