I am converting dvb-t mpa (mp2) demuxed sound into AAC using besweet with the following nero dlls copied to the besweet directory;

aac.dll
aacenc32.dll

and got the below error
I tried adding NeroIPP.dll too same error.

This was all with nero ultra edition 6.6.12

I updated to 6.6.16 and copied the first two dll from the nero shared directory to the besweet directory - same error

The latest log file is pasted here with the above error;

@mic

Thanks for your help - I have searched the forum and the besweet faq but I'll check again in case their some new messanges.

Looked at your link - this seemed to be about having the correct nero dlls in the besweet directory - which I have done. Nero Ultra is installed as far as I can see.... altough maybe I missed the point.

Sorry if I've not explained myself clearly.

I may try deinstalling nero entirely and reinstalling in case its screwed up in some non obvious way ... although I have encoded a video in mpeg 4 ASP and AVC succesfully.

I'll keep plugining away if I find a solution I'll post it in case in proves useful.

Well... Saw a few posts in the forums, all pointing to that post. I'd guess that maybe Nero isn't installed correctly, perhaps one or more filters or files are interferring (wrong version?) with Nero, that sort of thing. Or your input file might be bad. For the L of it:
Using my path & file names with the command line from post in faq thread:

dimzon does indeed - the FAAC AAC works fine.

I did try deinsllind and reinstallng nero ... the nero AAC still does not work.
Probably do have some software/filters/interfering.

Next items I think would be to deintall all media filters and reinstall using zoomplayer....

I'll think about it as everything else sems OK

Thanks for your help

Latest update installed same software on analtenative PC under XP home - and nero aac encoding works.

This confirmsthat there is something in the setup o the original PCthat is interfereing with the use of nero dll outside nero.

Maybe when I've time I will rebuild the first PC's software - I guess this is a software problem.
