I have burned lots of DVD's using this drive with nary a problem. I never used it for playback, usually used the Sony DVD player or the DVD drive in my laptop (Toshiba I think) with no problems.
Now I am trying use the drive to also watch movies and the DVD appears to lock up at random times. This usually occurs on DVD's where I have removed some of the "extras" to help with compression. I use WinDVD 5.0 on both the desktop (that contains this drive) and my laptop and like I said the laptop = no problems and desktop = problems.
Anyone else experience any problems or have suggestions?
Like I said I have burned a lot, but since it was really not that hard to do I never really learned a lot so be nice! :0
