Use 706752 to create sample or use my sample:

ff_libfaad2.dll & CoreAAC (based on FAAD) playng it fine!

Note!
Since some time ffdshow buids from C_D does not include ff_libfaad2.dll !!!

Note! You need AAC Parser to bee able play raw AAC file in DirectShow player. Get it here:

CoreAAC doesn't decode AAC v2 PS v2 as far as I tested it.

ffdshow build of 03/08/2005 using realaac the file play perfectly (mono 30kbps aac)

It's not mono! It's PS (Parametric Stereo)

seems like faad2 support ps-aac.

latest ffdshow built by CD has ff_faad2 library included.

Yep, went to all the trouble of removing a "#" from the nsi script.
