How to create subtitles for Adobe Encore?

I was reading the help files for adobe encore regarding importing subtitles, but I don't really understand it. It seems to only allow you to import plain text files. I currently have some scripts in the ssa format. What do I need to do to get these subtitles into Adobe Encore?

If I remember correctly, there is a small utility available by searching online, also referenced at adobe.com -- it's purpose is converting standard subs to Encore acceptable format. I just searched my drives -- don't seem to still have a copy so I can't even give you the name, but it was the only one so...

I think it is called "encore subtitles", it takes sami script as input and generates a encore compatible .txt script.
