AC3 5.1 that thinks its 2.0?

Capped a HDTV show and ran it through dgindex, now the ac3 thinks its 2.0 channel or so it says according to headAC3he, now when i convert it to wave it only converts the rear channels. How can i get around this?

I can only guess, but I'll bet the Programme was in 5.1 and the Commercials were in 2/0. Perhaps you started demuxing on a commercial segment ?

A few things to try - Perhaps one of them will do the trick.

Run the file through AC3 Cutter for a repair-

2) Crop a moment off of the front of the file with Mpg2cut2

3) Demux with ProjectX
