I have a few AVI's that I would like to alter words but Im not sure how.

One of the AVI's there was only 3 places with words I wanted to alter.. neither of the scenes effected the movie sooo I used VirtualDub and cut those sections out.. spliced them back together and Walaa.. It worked great.. and took very little time.. Thanks to the guides here.

I have a few more that have 30+ words I want to remove. But I dont want to cut all the related scenes in theml.. I experimented with virtualDub Mod and went under streams/ stream list.. and was able to save the wave.. or demux an ac3 from it. I was able to put the wav (not the ac3) in Adobe Audition and clean it up perfect..

Then Im left with a wav and an AVI file... Sooo.. Then how do I go about making something like an mpg file out of the AVI and the new altered sound file that I could burn with Nero?

In the past I followed the guide where I used DVDtoSVCD and used the resulting files from an AVI to create a DVD.. But now Im wanting to use the altered sound file.. and Im not sure what to do.

I have read through the guides until my head hurts.. I may have been looking right at my answer and just didint see it..

Thanks for any help!

One method would be to simply FIRST load the .AVI into TMPGEnc and THEN load the .WAV file into TMPGEnc - and convert to any of the three formats you've mentioned (MPG, SVCD, and DVD)...

Ahhh.. Ya know.. I remember going to that menu before.. but I just never had to tell it to choose an alternate wav file.. I dont usually have to alter the audio files.

I knew it would be simple once I seen it.

Thank you very much setarip_old
