im sorry you probably get alot of these posts but im a noob and tried what the sticky post said and it always comes out oversize i tried it with virtualdubmod and mencoder and got the same problem it always comes out oversize. :confused:

if anyone could help me i will be gratefull. :thanks:

im not sure maybe my problem is the profile @ level does that make any diffrence what do you reccomend mine should be put at. and the advance options what should i put my mostion search precision and my VHQ mode.
i just tried adding quantizer min to 2 and the file projected size starts out undersized and slowly keeps increasing.

Just post your settings used in virtualdubmod. (But i agree the question is answered in the doom9 guides and posted here too.)
