Any news about the "impossible to open output file" issue?

Just like forum member DMA wrote about here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=95974&highlight=output+file) i'm having this (unusual?) problem. All versions succeeding AGK 1.95 (except 2.13b actually) don't let me specify the path and name for the "Output file". Nothing happens when I try to open the window. This makes me really unhappy since I can't utilize needed updates in the latest versions :(

Former suggestion concerning "win9x compatibility" doesn't solve this so I was hoping some of you ingenious guys might propose a solution.

Solved it. The IFO-file and vobs can't reside in root directory. I have to make a subfolder. Maybe already reported, sorry.
