Subtitles 2 seconds ahaid of dialogue

Hello. This is my first message in the forum.

I have downloaded a movie and the separate subtitles. Playing back this movie I realized that there's a 2 seonds time shift, subtitles appear 2 seconds prior to the actual dialogue.

Is there a way to correct this?

Or use the "Set delay" feature from Media Subtitler (http://www.divxland.org/subtitler.htm) to adjust the subtitles.
