What happened to the AVI.NET thread?

apparently, DVD Info deleted it. I guess with the upgrade came permissions greater than anticipated.. iirc the thread creator should only be able to delete if there has been no reply.

I was one of the last posters here--for me the thing just plain didn't work. Maybe he's shot it in the head or otherwise is re-tooling it.

Well it does work. And his website is still online, and the tool is still documented there, and available for download.

Just seemed odd, that's all...

I have to say that i am impressed with the performance of avi.net only a few niggles with it.

1. i would like the option to set xvid settings somwhere

2. It takes to long to preload videos ie you have to wait for it to save a project with dgindex before you can start the encode. The option to do this unattended would be useful.

3. Easier manipulation of the output resolution is needed with the option of using the orginal resolution and using PAR to ensure correct display aspect.

Apart from that i think the application is very interesting and very quick which is always a plus.
