Hi All
1st the set up i'm using - Home DVD recorder in +RW format discs. PC is P4 3Ghz lga 775 with 1gig ram, 160 gb sata hd,LG 16x dual layer multi writer (ie. DVD +/- & Ram).

I need advice on how to combine recordings from 2 discs from the home recorder. I pulled them onto my PC hd with dvd decryptor. I get all the VOB's but also have 2 ISO and IFO files which obviously would not be correct. I mistakingly deleted these. I edited all the vobs together (with menu and new chapters) using the cyberlink power producer gold package that came with the LG drive. The problem is I cannot seem to write to a DVD-R or + disc. The program hangs after about 30% of the calculations before writing. I presume this is were the new IFO, ISO, menus, chapters files are being made.

None of the vobs are bigger than 1gig. For future refernce is there another way of handing this 2 disc scenario whilst also permitting some editing to cut out the adverts. New at this sort of thing so any advice without to much technospeak would be appreciated.
thanks VIDIT
