Problem creating season dvd iso file

Im sure this has been asked and aswered many times but i just couldnt find an answer...Im trying to make a copy of my Invader Zim dvds for my little brother and right before it starts to make the file it says unable to find a proper place for layer break...im using pgcedit...and i could swear i saw a guide on how to back-up season dvds properly but i just cant seem to find it again...any help is appreciated...thanks

Hi GQ Customs and welcome to the forum!

we may need a little more info before we can offer any advice.

layer breaks are only required if burning onto Dual Layer media.
if this is your desired goal, i would suggest using dvd decrypter to rip in ISO READ mode, then select the .MDS file and burn in ISO WRITE mode onto your blank. dvd decrypter will use the original layer breaks location for your back-up disc.

if you want to compress the DVD so it can fit onto a DVD-5 then you do not need a layer break and i am unsure as to why you are getting that error.
