I recently switched from encoding dvd mpeg2 files to divx files because the quality of the encodes was much better. I am planning to buy a divx compliant dvd player and now need to burn divx avi files. How is this done? I also guess from checking around that authoring a divx disc is not possible. Is there anyway to make menus though? Would someone please enlighten me.

Hi!
Standalone players that have DivX playback ability typically have built-in, basic menus for displaying the names of .AVI files on the DVDs.
To burn DivX-compressed .AVI files to your DVD, simply burn it as a data DVD (In NERO, this is referred to as "DVD-ROM [ISO]")...
