Hi,

I searched for a couple of days on the forum but i cant find any tool that can directly cut or edit a .ts file with audio only.
I am recording sometimes a concert or a show that i want and then i convert it to mp3.
Is there a way to cut or edit an audio .ts file directly ?

(edit) actually i found a few tools that could open it but because it is audio only it wont show me anything in a graphical bar or something.
Normally when you have video it will show the frames but with audio only it doesnt.
I tried a few audio apps like sony soundforge, acid 5.0 and wavelab but they cant open .ts files :(

Thx

Could you record mp2 or convert to mp2 and cut with mp3DirectCut?

Yes i can convert with projectx for example but that takes 30~40 minutes before it is done.
I am using a Dreambox 7000 and it can only record to .ts on its internal harddrive.
I am using razorlame to convert to .mp3 and want to skip the convertion because razorlame can convert to mp3 directly from a .ts audio file.
I dont know if it is even possible though, i am just wondering.

I'm surprised it takes 30 minutes
