pls help on show me how to resize the divx file? with which tools?

Hello, and welcome to the forum -- even if it took you 3 years to make this first post. :D

Could you explain what it is you are trying to accomplish, and what tools you are currently using?

"Resize" might mean different things to different people, such as "Make the output larger on PC playback" or "Re-encode and adjust the video bitrate."

Better information from you will mean better information from us.

By all means, do provide more information regarding YOUR definition of "resize"

However, regardless of whether you mean change the filesize or change the resolution (or, perhaps, yet something else), VirtualDub and/or VirtualDubMOD should be appropriate tools...

use virtualdub as stated above. If you want to crop the avi (remove from the sides/top/bottom) use the null transform in virtualdub. If you want to increase/decrease the resolution use the resize filter in virtualdub. If you want to make the file size smaller/larger then lower/raise the bitrate in the encoder settings

I had used virtualdub & it's fulfill the job :)

actually, i would like to dec the resolution (and size of course) for using in my PDA

A good tool and more "friendly" is Dr. DivX!
