I am not a newbie to video but I am to HC and to .m2v. I have been able to get HC to encode a DV avi file to an .m2v file. So, how do I get the audio and the video back together? TDA will accept the .m2v file but there is no audio.
What do I need to do make a compliant mpeg2 file with audio?
Thanks in advance.

I would do the following. Demultiplex the audio from DV file with VirtualDubMod (Streams-Stream list-Demux) and compress it to Mpeg 1 layer 2 (.mp2 or .mpa) or to ac-3 2.0 224kbps with BeLight and then give it to TDA as audio source.

Thanks, I will give that a try and let you know how it turned out.
