usually got no probs with auto gk, but this movie has me stumped..

it was ripped in ifo mode using dvd decrypter

after opening in auto gk.. it gets thru the dgindex, then pops up

avisynth open failure..
Evaluate unrecognised exception!
(x:\pathtorip\agk_tmp\_.avs, line 8)

in autogk log,it says
EXCEPTION: Cannot open file "x:\pathtorip\agk_tmp\interlace.log". The system cannot find the file specified

ive tried this on 2computers with all versions of auto gk..

the dvdr plays fine, even tried re-authoring with DVDshrink then going through autogk again, but that error always appears

have backed up 100+ movies with auto gk, and never had such problems..

any ideas?

thanks
p.s
the movie data files i have from dvd decrypters ifo rip =

VTS_01 - Stream Information.txt
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB

oh and looking at _.avs, line 8 = c = SelectRangeEvery(180,18)

If other sources are still ok then you probably came across a bug in one of the tools (DGMPGDec or avisynth), if not then something got broken and needs to be reinstalled.

have tried reinstalling, and verified its not aproblem on the pc, by trying on another... must be vdub or avisynth bug.. no matter

If you manually open avs script from agk_tmp dir in vDubMod - does it crash? What if you comment out SelectRangeEvery?

hmm i tryed upgrading Dgindex & vdubmod, but still error appearing.. i just upgraded the avisynth to AVS 2.5.6 Beta4 [100705] and error doesnt appear... will know in 2hrs what the result looks like:)

and yes it would crash if i manually opened it.. i never tried deleteing that line.. now its working with newer AVS so should be fine
