Hi, Could somebody help me in this problem, please?
I use DVD Architect for creating DVD.I have some video files mostly coded in divx or xvid.If I add video to DVD Architect it always shows me used space more than DVD size is(ex. 5,1 GB,17 GB or 19GB).
I think with this software is impossible to change size or just save it on HDD and after shrink it in other application.
What should I do with it?Does exist any good decoder which could help me?

In DVD Architect go to File-->Optimize DVD to set the Bitrate for your files. There is also a Button Fit to Disc. This should work fine, as long as you keep your Project settings in mind.
Hope that helps.

If it helps, DVDA almost always reports wrong space available, so take that info with a grain of salt.

"I think with this software is impossible to change size or just save it on HDD and after shrink it in other application."

When you Prepare DVD, can certainly save to hard drive & use Shrink, Recode etc. afterwards.

Might want to consider encode elsewhere... Mainconcept plugin in Vegas is Excellant, or use your choice with better controls. If you encode in Vegas, Chapter Points will be preserved. Beware however, DVDA is unusual in requiring mpg2 import files be full mpg, with audio stream missing -- pure m2v video stream needs to be run through muxing prog. without audio to import.
