I'm looking for a way to join two splited subtitles files into one. I've tried it with gsubedit, but part corresponding to the second file gets desync. :?

try Subtitle Workshop (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Subtitles/subtitleworkshop251.zip), it works wonders for me!

Last week I had the same problem and used mkvmerge+mkvextract, probably not the best way but works ;)
And just found http://www.panayotis.com/jubler/ (needs Java), it should do the work.

Thx, RedDwarf. I finally made Subtitle Workshop running with Crossover Office. It works fine. Anyway, I'll have a look at jubler ;)

I always did that with a bit of math, cat and "srttool" (works of course only with *srt-subs)

No, never tried. Just saw "Joining" on "Features".

I didn't try it. Anyway, I've tried another program that had the join feature and it didn't work: subtitles corresponding to the second file get desync. I do it in this way (with Subtitle Workshop):
-copy the content from both sub files into a new text file
-load this new file in Subtitle Workshop
-go to the point where second file starts
-select from here to the end
-look for the exact lenght of the first video file and apply a delay of this time to the selection above
-save the file
PD: sorry for my English.
