Does somebody know if exist an Xvid stat file editor that works with current release?
I want to force Xvid to put a Key frame in certain point of the movie that are in sync with the chapter so that everychapter starts with a keyframe and this let me cut the movie easier.

TIA.

Before encoding, in the XviD settings, you can use the "Zone Options" --> "Begin with keyframe".

What I want is to put a keyframe when a chapter start so after 0:30:25,128 or 0:40:38,02 and so on and I didn't notice this option.
Maybe I'm wrong.

The Zones allow you to divide your encode in segments, each one starting by a keyframe (and if you want with some differents settings) - in your case each segment would be a chapter.
The start of each segment is indicated by its START FRAME (not by its time).
In your case, see (with e.g. VirtualDub) which frame corresponds to each time...
Or calculate it. Assuming it's a PAL movie (25fps), then 0:30:25,128 (=1825128 ms) would be frame #45628 (since 1f rame <=> 40 ms).

The was a program somewhere in this forum that would automaticaly create zones from a chapter file.

There are also a few stat editor programs floating about.

I did the zone thing opening the avs script with virtualdub and then going to the right time and writing down the frame, next time I'll give a tru to keyframeforcer.
