I just noticed that if you select MODE>FULL BACKUP while simultaneously having OPTION>SETUP>Remove Dir's Comments checked, you will not wind up getting a full backup of a movie. That is, you won't get the Director's commentary. I tried it with Donnie Darko, Director's Cut. I got the movie and menus, but I didn't get the commentary section on the main menu. I went back and looked at the Input settings tab and saw that multiple audio streams and multiple subpicture streams had been disabled based on settings mentioned above.

Maybe some will disagree, but, IMHO, I think if you select "Full Backup", this choice should override, at least temporarilly, any selections made in OPTIONS>SETUP so that you do, in fact, wind up with a full backup of the entire disc.

i disagree.

Full backup or Movie only... are for choose what video elements of dvd to keep.

So, if i want a full backup (as full video film) i must choose what audio to keep.

i can suggest (but i disagree) that if i choose full backup a question (or option) can pop-up asking for overwriting audio choose.

my 2 cents

Yeah.. im w/ buzz. Full has always referred to video content. i can see that seeming misleading if your new/semi new to dvdrb.

as another suggestion.. maybe 'full video backup' might take the confusion out w/out needing to program in a dialog window.

That wasn't the intent of "Full Backup" -- the fact that you had to click an option again to remove the checkmark (e.g. "Movie Only") and disable it was confusing some people. So I added this option to make it easier to select/deselect. When you have a big X next to the audio language, I think it is intuitive enough that it isn't going to be included.
