Hi, I just installed autogk (1.96 then the beta version 2.13) and I have this problem with subtitles who have a delay of like 1 min before appearing. I have tried encoding subs with several different movies and everytime theyre delayed.

Now I'm pretty sure I did everything right: I selected - use external subs in the advanced menu I put the filename in the first column, I pressed ctrl f8 and put the .sub file in the new column and selected add job.

I also selected custom size 700mb altough the file is like 650 mb (first half of the movie) and the whole process lasted for like 3 hours ( is this normal?) and came out with subs all wrong like I said. After that I tried other movies and used the preview option and always the subs start like 1 min after theyre supposed too.

Obviously im kinda new to autogk and encoding stuff in general, so I would appreciate if someone knows the solution to my problem and can explain it in 'newbie' terms. Thx

:logfile:, but you probably have to resync that sub file that you're supplying before feedig into AutoGK...

the sub file is synced perfectly with the video because i can see it with radlight player (a program that allows you to view a movie and load subs within the movie) so it's not that.

I had similar problems after editing a file - I had removed about 15 seconds from the opening, and rather than edit each time stamp with VobSub, I found it much simpler to use the sub cutter option and just create a start point about 15 seconds in.

well i didnt use vobsub at all. I just dl-ed the sub file and saw that is perfectly synced with the movie and tried to encode it. And as I said this happens to all the movies I have when i preview them.

Well, I gave you a solution, too bad you didn't read it or the rules.

...I just dl-ed the sub file...That does not qualify as Fair Use.
