Autogk 2.15b Playability On Philips Dvp642?

hi, i just wanted to see if anyone with a PHILIPS DVP642 standalone had a problem with playability for 2.15 beta rips? because i got unlucky wasting alot of ripping time when i tried out 2.09 beta awhile back, which had an ESS compatibility bug of some sort...

i am currently using 2.13 beta which works fine...so i just wanna see several opinions(not just one :P) giving me the official green light on new 2.15 beta...if not, ill just stick to 2.13 beta for the time being cuz i know if anything's seriously wrong with 2.15b, Lenox will fix it by the time his next beta's out :)

ps. Lenox, don't take my mention of 2.09 beta's bug the wrong way, i still love and appreciate all the work you do for us :) cuz hell, what right would i have to complain about ur program if i contributed nothing :P

Well, all it takes is a bit of investigation and knowlegde of what was really broken in 2.08 (not 2.09 btw) i.e. new xvid.dll and refactoring of ess/bitrate options into general ess/mtk/sigma options. If you don't trust change log then nothing can be done of course, but just FYI - there is absolutely nothing changed in AutoGK regarding XviD/ESS options at all (having ess option in the installer means nothing to AutoGK itself as you can always go into hidden option and check that ESS compatiblity is set on after install).

no im positive it was 2.09beta[though 2.08b had a minor glitch too but thats irrelevent now]...i checked the logs...erased em yesterday though :| so i cant show u...in the logs everything seemed fine...plus i did set ess...think it was only some of my 2.09 rips though...dun remember exactly but i think it was only messed with the 3cd rips...

anyways...it don't matter now cuz 2.09b is of course obsolete since 2.13b n 2.15b came out...ill take your word on the 2.15b bein proper cuz if anything i can always go back to 2.13b! :)

keep up the great work lenox, without you i'd be stuck scratchin up my retails :( and thats no good :)
