How can I use my new CCE SP with DVD-RB??!

Hi all, I used to use EclCCE in conjunction with a version of CCE SP that didn't produce the greatest results, so I've just gotten CCE SP Trial v2.70.01.05, and in the SETUP area I point to EclCCE.EXE, but it errors saying its incompatible!
"This 2.70.01.05 CCE version is not yet supported. ECL support not available."


What should I do? How can I use my new CCE SP with DVD-RB? I tried removing EclCCE and pointing right to the ccespt.exe file, but then it says "This .ecl is not made for CCE Trial!" What do I do!! :{

You have to re-run the ECL and CCE Configuaration Utility so that DVD-RB knows what version of the encoder you are using, and choose the option for CCE 2.70 SP trial, no ECL

That should work, as ECL isn't used, thats probably where you're going wrong


The config utility is in the DVD-RB menus, under "extras"


Or, just reinstall DVD-RB and it will run the utility for you when reinstalling, sometimes that can be the easiest way and guantees no problems


I'm using CCE 2.70 2.70.02.00, so you shoudl be okay

I don't have that option

I'm using DVD-RB Freeware..

On setup window set the "CCE New" path to CCE2.70 exe file (CCE 2.70 doesn't need EclCCE)...
On menu Options->CCE options you must choose "CCE Trial"

Reiterating what Rockas said, you have two places to tweak to get things working properly:

1. Options > Setup > Path to CCE SP (new)...should point to your CCE SP Trial exe file.

2. Options > CCE Options >...select CCE SP Trial.

Things should be working after you make these adjustments.

You also have to redo the PREPARE when you change the encoder because PREPARE generates the ECL files. If you are getting "This .ecl is not made for CCE Trial!" it sounds like you may not be PREPARING again.
