Nero burning

When I try to author and burn a dvd with nero it says that my files are to large (usually 5.5 gigs) when they are less then 4.7 gigs. When I use an other author and burn package I don't have any problems. I have tried decreasing the quality settings but it doesn't seem to help. Anyone have any ideas what I could do?

Don't use Nero! There are many problems with DVD-Video and Nero reported here.

If you don't need menus, use muxman to author your DVD, and burn it with PgcEdit or ImgTool Classic (both are using MKISOFS and DVD Decrypter to actually burn the DVD). You may also need DVDShrink if you want to compress the video.
