hi,
i have a standalone player - pioneer dv470 which plays divx
i have a movie and its resuloution is 800X336
the problem is, that my player doesnt play it.
what should i do?
what is the best way to change its res without losing quality?
and can anybody give me some info about what resuloution can my player read...

Your player like most supports upto 720x576.
You should stop downloading WAF or whatever releases or at least asking questions about them here.

If this content is legal I guess you have to reencode your movie and resize it to a reasonable resolution. If this content is not legal, then there's nothing you could do about it besides deleting it.

you shouldn't use the word "best" around here, this will only get you striked cause there is no best way :readrule:
It could be done with VDubMod alone or GK, and in various other ways. I prefer the 2 mentioned as a good way.

As it plays DivX and Xvid you could use what ever codec you prefer, just make sure you use a HT profile. Check divxtest.com for more details concering your player and abilities of codec features.
