I recorded a DVB stream then encoded to MPEG-2 for creating DVD but it recognise as 16:9 resolution and i try many MPEG editing tool and none of them can get rid of the black side of video. the only option was use AutoGK and it auto detect resolution and make it perfect 4:3 as divx/xvid but i want to creat a DVD which is need MPEG-2 and those black ugly on the side just stay there.
how can i get rid of it?

the quickest way (assuming the DVB stream is also DVD compliant, which may or may not be the case) is to use ReStream on the original capture.
set horizontal size (under "sequence display extension") to 540 and aspect ratio to 16:9. on your DVD player the bars _should_ disappear when you compile this new video into a DVD.
this method is advantageous because no re-encoding is done, and it's hella quick. however, DVD players might not play along with this method, and still display the bars. it depends how they are set up, and how compliant they are.

author as 16:9 - DVD
enable Pan&Scan in IFO-Edit.
set your DVD-SAP to Pan&Scan.
this is fully compliant to every equipment, but it always needs an adjustment in your DVD-SAP....
