Last couple versions of RB, when doing a Batch Encode(usually do 3-click mode on single projects), when the Batch starts the "Abort" button shows up, but stays greyed-out so that you can't select it or shut down RB if you need to, without totally closing the program.

Don't you have an "abort" button on the Batch section? :)

You have to "Abort" in the Batch Window during a batch encode. The other buttons show that action being taken, but don't allow access. The reason it changes to "Abort" on that button is because a simulated button action was taken by the Batch processor.

Doh!!! Boy you talk about tunnel vision, being used to 3-click mode buttons. Sorry to bother you with this one. If I wasn't so stupid, we could say how smart you were for fixing it already. :stupid: Let's see..... how do I make this arrow point at me?

Well... to be honest with you, when I was running a job the other day... I clicked off of the batch panel to the status window and forgot it was part of a batch job and thought it was a bug too. I actually started going through the code to figure out why the "Backup" button was disabled... so if "you're with stupid" -- you're with me.
