hi !
I have a lot of 2x DVD-R I'd like to burn at 4x.
My writer is a pioneer dvr-106.
Is it possible to get a hack firmware or something
to let me burn them at 4x instead of 2x ?
It's so slooooooow....
Thanks !

fuck offWhat kind of answer is that? Sounds like blatant trolling to me...
There is a lot of patched firmware for Pioneer drives on http://pioneerdvd.rpc1.org/#PIONEER_DVR_IDE
However the patched firmwares usually don't make a difference for brand name media as the patchers don't want to change the write strategy for known media. It works on no-name media where the media codes are not stored in the original firmware.
