Editing XviD AVI files?

Is it possible to edit/cut sections out, without needing a re-encode? I need to cut some adverts from a badminton video that I have.

Freware or shareware, I don't mind!

edit - I do know there are guide, but I'm looking for a program that is rather more user friendly then virtualdub.

Vdub is extremely easy to use. Take the
effort and try it out.

Honestly, I think you'd spend more time
trying to find a different program than
just using Vdub itself.
