Hi,
Can someone tell me some about CCE Verisons and their differences (SP,Basic and tril) and which one to use?
Cheers Himi

SP costs about $2000. Basic costs IIRC $58. Trial version puts a water mark on the encoded video

Whichever one you can afford/acquire. I'm currently using SP 2.70.02 and have not experienced any problems; others have had some issues. I believe the most widely used versions are the 2.66/2.67 branches.

You can compare SP and Basic here:

Basic just... um... BASICALLY has less features than SP, but they both use the same encoding engine (meaning the quality's the same within Rebuilder's context). Want more options? Get deeper pockets!
I've been using CCE SP 2.5 for years now (cost me much more than a pretty penny, but a business expense is a business expense) and I have yet to use all the options it has. Beleive me, if there was a basic version that I could have bought, I would have.
Save money. Go basic. ;)

Hmm can anyone say "use 2.67" or "2.70" etc. for sure? I mean differences between those verisons, known problems etc?
Cheers

2.70 got an upgrade to the encoder engine. There's no reason to use the older version if you can use the newest release.
