Hello,

first: Thx hank for your wonderfull encoder!

Now my problem. I use HCbatch_015/A to encode single frame clips. All worked like a charm with HC_batch15. But since i changed to HCbatch_015A the clips won't be processed anymore. HCbatch_015A's screen appears and is gone the same moment.

this is my command line

HCbatch_015A.exe -ini CuttHC.ini

this is my INI-file:

*INFILE temp.avs
*OUTFILE temp.m2v
*BITRATE 3250
*MAXBITRATE 8000
*ASPECT 4:3
*WAIT 5
*DC_PREC 8

this is my temp.avs:

AviSource("temp.avi")

All file paths are verified. Maybe it's a bug. Maybe it's an effect of changes made to HCbatch_015A. I tried also with full file paths. HCGUI_015a works.

Files for testing. (home.arcor.de/frostyboy/data/HCbatch_015a_test.7z) (Alternative link)

I have also experienced an error with the new HC beta. I usually run DVDRB Pro with HC with no problems but after installing the new HC nothing will encode. All that happens is HC opens, stalls, then errors out.

I run:
Win XP SP2
DVDRB Pro RC 4.1
AMD 64 3200
1 GIG ram.

If I install the previous version of HC everything works fine. If I just open HC batch it will countdown normally when no input is being entered and close. I have uninstalled and reinstalled DVDRB and redownloaded HC and no fix.

HC is a great encoder. I appreciate you taking the time to write it.

Hm.. quite an achievement.
Just by parsing 2 new commands and adding a few lines of code I seem to have broken half the program
Debugging and testing time...

@LigH
I could even reproduce that GUI crash you described, will have a look at it also.

For DVD-RB users: maybe better to use HC015 until these issues are solved.

i can confirm that the latest build crashes from c/l, however, the chapter test build does not.
Also i get the following error msg in muxman after hc encodes. source is pulldowned film

Largest GOP of 38 fields exceeds DVD specification of 36.
Resulting DVD is non-standard.

i tried with full pathes ... it didn't work. the simple pathes are just for the example files.
