Hi len0x,

I wanted to test a video conversion tool and needed an AVI source and I needed an easy way to make a Xvid out of one of my DVD's.

The last time I backed up one of my DVD's to DivX was in the old days way back when, most of the guides I got off this site. Since the advent of 1 CD VCD matrices and since I got my DVD burner I have no real reason to back my DVD collection to DivX.

The old way was long winded, Rip with SmartRipper & VobDec, use a bitrate calculator and use FlaskMpeg to get your AVI. So many tools needed.

I thought I would give your tool a try and I was blown away. I ripped my DVD using DVD Decrypter in ISO mode to select the main movie only.

Selected 2 CD's with AC3 sound and selected my external subs.

Went to bed and when I woke up everything was done, the quality was awesome, my XviD had AC3 sound and all the tools in one little neat app, my subs came out fine and now I have a great quality 2CD XviD to test out.

I just wanted to say a BIG thank you for creating such an excellent DivX/Xvid creating tool, it beats the hard work of the old days and makes our lives so much more easier.

People are quick to moan at developers when there software doesn't work so I thought I would offer my thanks and praise for a tool (for me at least) that works fantastic.

Keep up the good work this is a great tool.

I would but unfortunately it is a tool that I am likely to only use this once as like I stated I don't really do DivX/Xvid conversions these days.

I have donated to several tools that I use frequently as I think it is a good way to show appreciation.

Having said that though I think I will make a donation as soon as I pay off the bucketload of bills that I received lately, the reason being this tool deserves some support and len0x has made a sweet tool here for all his hard work and effort, I think it is only fair to help contribute to keep AutoGK alive. :)

Keep up the great work len0x. :)

EDIT: What is the suggested amount to donate? Thanks. :)
