I've read that incredibly useful guide about hybrid sources here in the forums, in fact it specifically refers to the job I'm doing, but I still need help. I could use GK which would get me great results since I could follow the advice in the FAQ, but I'm doing the star trek next generation dvd's. All 7 seasons. Anyone doing this many rips will definately want to use autogk for the sake of convenience and practicality. Autogk detects the source as hybrid(mostly film), but the resulting output file has very poor quality for its filesize, it looks like, well i can't explain really what it looks like, but it definately looks like something went wrong because of it being hybrid, everything else i've done isn't hybrid and comes out perfect. I was wondering if one of those two options Force normal IVTC when source is detected as hybrid, or Force deinterlacing when source was detected as hybrid might help in this situation.
