I'm trying to rebuild a DVD -The 5Th element- PAL using Quarter-D1 (352x288 res)on all extras! It is not so useful , I know , but it is the only way to keep all extras and all macroblocks free!!
The only thing is , I got to manual edit .ecl and .avs files !!!
@jdobbs : I know it is not on your TODO list , but can I ask you to implement something like a separate menù button for extra reduction containing all options regarding extras like :
- Half-D1 with per-VTS ticks(it is just there under AVS options);
- Quarter-D1 with per-VTS ticks;
- Steal space from extras with slidebar allowing to select how much space to steal from extras in a per-VTS stile;
- AVS filter adder in a per-VTS stile;
- and so on ... all things regarding Extra reduction.
It'd useful to choose what to steal space and bitrate from and how to do it in a more Professional way - It'd also make confusion , but I'd like to hear your opinion about it , because it's possible you've never thought this !!!
