First off, I would like to appologize for double posting this, but I asked in the RB-Opt thread and it quickly got burried. I just downloaded RB-Opt and I can see it being a very useful tool and, in my opinion, must be integrated into DVD-RB in the long run in order to compete with DVDShrink. (I know jdobbs is not trying to 'compete', but the truth is not everyone realizes why DVD-RB is so much better)
My question is, once you go through the prepare phase and use the preview/edit option to blank out any segments you dont want, RB-Opt doesnt show any change in the compression levels. I am worried that it will override some settings from DVD-RB or that it wont take into account the blanked segments and I wont get the full benefit from the saved space.
Could someone explain this to me a little better? I dont want to use it untill I am sure what I am doing.

No.. I don't think that RB-Opt will overide Rebuilder settings on blanked segments... that actions has an independent variable that I don't thing RB-Opt touches... but, of course, only Robot1 can be certain about that :)

RBOpt doesn't override DVD-RB settings for blanked segments.
