I just used "TMPGEnc" to encode a .avi movie into .m2v (MPEG-2) movie.

Now, how can I make a Dvd out of that MPEG-2 file? I mean how can I create a .vob or .IFO file out of the .m2v movie I just encoded. I want to burn it out on a DVD a be able to watch the movie in my DVD player.

Thanks.

You can use TMPGEncDVDAuthor (http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tda.html)

Download the trial version, create the DVD (very easy with this prog) and then burn the DVD-folder with Nero or sth else.

Here's some additional free help: use a title that describes the contents of your post, as per forum rule 9. I did this for you this time in the hope there won't be a next time.

You missed the cross post in the dvd authoring forum :D

For such a simple authoring task I'd go for MuxMan http://www.mpucoder.com/Muxman

If you're using win 2k or win xp you can also use Tmpgenc dvd Author to burn. I save to hard drive 1st to check my results before burning.
