This is a weired one. I'm doing war of the worlds and the entire movie completes with no errors. When you play it back the movie plays fine until about 3 quarters of the way through. At that point the screen go's black and has a few red lines at the bottom (simulare to previous reports of the when avisyth was not installed correctly and the whole movie came out that way). So I found the .m2v file that this occured on and created an item.ecl file from the section in the rebuilder.ecl and encoded the file manually and got the same result. I'm not sure what went wrong but I beleive it is a ILVU segment. I'm using rb pro RC4. Can someone point me in the right direction. Heres the item.ecl file. My machine configuration is at the bottem of this post as the tag line.

Open D:\WORK\D2VAVS\V01000900002003.avs in mediaplayer, virutaldub, or whatever and see what the error message says.

having a look at the ifo might be helpful (paste the summary page from ifedit) to determine if its ilvu... since ilvu sections are extracted on demand it would lead to you seeing an .avs (avisynth) error message in mediaplayer now that may be different from the one during encoding phase

I had this same problem with the same movie R1 NTSC. I don't remember any ilvu but it was just this 1 cell that behaved this way. The rest of the movie was fine. If D2AVS viewed thru media player classic it showed the black screen with red at the bottom like reported. I manually ran DGMPGDEC for entire VTS and the problem did not show up like it did thru RB D2AVS. So I just used RB's trim numbers and manually ran it thru cce to create the m2v and then renamed it V01000900002003.m2v and reinserted it in the RB file and clicked "REBUILD" and let RB do it's thing. Movie came out perfect and played back on stand alone Sony DVP NS 575P without a glitch. What a cool, flexible program Mr. D has created!!

wish you had kept the d2v's to compare
