When selecting the .credits (Encode Credits with different settings) option in AutoGK, which option should one use to calculate the starting frame?

29.97 or 23.97 fps?

My video sources are ripped IFOs from NTSC DVDs, which I believe most are 29.97 fps. However AutoGK is setup to encode at 23.97 fps. So I am somewhat confused which framerate to calculate the starting credits frame from.

:thanks:

You should enter the framerate of your input source i.e: 29.971. Try it with 23.976 - you will see that the end credits compression would be applied earlier than the frame# you specify.

It could be a useful enhancement for AutoGK to display the framerate of the input source in the Video info: section ???

Look more carefully and you will see that it does. As below:

Starting with version 2.12 - not anymore... its just PAL/NTSC. I could probably add fps manually as its always 25 or 29.97 for DVDs
