Range selection request

Hello, can you add a feature to select start and the end of video for encoding?

I mean - can we tune this parameter before clicking "start"? (to operate with multiple files)

This would be a killer feature for those of us who use PVR software and end up with single files (VCD, SVCD or DVD quality).

When setting up the recording timer its very common to program it to start 2-5 minutes prior to the announced time. The same principal is followed when setting up the ending time for the recording, you add some extra minutes for the ending.

So what you end up is one file (mpeg) like this:
(some-extra-minutes)(the-program-you-want-to-record)(some-extra-minutes)

In THIS case the range selection would be REALLY nice.

It would be nice to code only the first 10 minutes of a movie so you could see how it looks before you do the whole thing.

next thing you're going to ask for a cutting feature.. so before you do: it's a nightmare audio wise, and that's why no tools do it and you have to do all your cutting before feeding the result into an encoding software.
