I want to encode my Wacky Races DVD's to XviD.
Using DVD Decryptor I extracted each PCG so each episode is a 330-350mb VOB file (12minutes in duration). I'd like to compress these down to 100mb each, so I set the file size and let Auto GK do its work. The AVI it outputs though only has a width of 380-400. When I set the width to 512 fixed and file size to 100mb the quality drops a lot.
I'm guessing AutoGK is struggling because the cartoon is so old (grainy etc); anyone have any suggestions for advanced settings I should try to improve quality?
This is the first cartoon I have tried to encode, previously I've only backed up my Cheers, ELR and A-Team DVD's, which were pretty straight forward, so I'm a bit lost on how to proceed! (thought it would be easier, ha!)
:thanks: in advance.
