I'm come home yesterday and my wife is playing an on-line jigsaw puzzle game on my computer. She couldn't play it on hers because she didn't have the required java support. No big deal ... I download the latest java package from Sun and install it in IE6. I go back to the puzzle website and get an error that states that this page requires Java Virtual Machine in order to view. I notice the java icon is not in her tray. I'm able to open it from IE "Tools" and now it shows up. I go back to the website and get the same error message. I spent about two hours on the web researching this last night. I made sure that MS Java virtual machine was disable and Sun's was enabled. I did this probably 5 or 6 times. I uninstalled and reinstalled Sun's java package ... no help. I went to their site that checks the installation and I go an error.
Both my wife and I are running zonealarm ... I shut hers down ... still it didn't work.
I usually can figure these things out but I'm at a loss. Everything works fine on my computer but not on hers. Both computers are behind a router, connected via LAN and are running zonealarm and norton anti-virus. Also, we both are running W2K SP4. I've also update IE on her machine to the lastest.
