I have 8 hard drives in my system
4x400GB (C: 30GB IDE raid-5 which has WinXP Pro) (D: 1.05TB)
2x240GB SATA Windows Software raid-0
400GB IDE Media
400GB IDE More Media
I would like to move WinXP from the Raid array to one of the 400GB single drives.
The reason for this is that I was getting stutter during playback of my tv captures while I was recording multiple shows (up to 4 tuners capping at 12mbit/s each). So I changed the cluster size from 4K to 64K. Now I am getting really slow write performance. I tried to change it back to 4K but it is still slow. I don't know if acronis Partition Expert did something to the partition and I would prefer not to have OS on the Raid anyways.
